Anonymous: You should try more black and white photography. It'll help bring out the nice repetition and structure you have going on in your photographs.

excellent point. the reduction of certain visual information can sometimes bring forward new readings. I guess so far I’ve been a little hesitant to do b&w because it’d be an entirely post-processed effort—but now that i think about it, that’s pretty hypocritical and inconsistent, since i do plenty of other kinds of reduction/editing in post as well.
